The results of the inaugural CarSite.co.uk Car of the Year Awards.
The wait is over! The results of the first annual CarSite Car of the Year Awards have been announced and it's the Volvo V40 which has been named Car of the Year 2013.
The V40 saw off competition from the Dacia Sandero, the Toyota GT86 and the Volkswagen Golf to take home the honours in the Car of the Year category, impressing the judges with its quality feel, good looks, low running costs and excellent safety credentials.
Whereas most Car of the Year awards are judged solely by a panel of experts, CarSite also took into consideration the popularity of each model as judged by their hit rates in the New Car and Review sections of CarSite.co.uk.
