Here's a quick fact for you: in 2012, the Nissan Qashqai was Britain's sixth-bestselling car. And it really isn't difficult to see why.
The Qashqai is quite simply a brilliant family car. It's spacious, good to drive, comfortable, refined and, in 1.6-litre diesel form, very cheap to run too.
On top of this, the Qashqai is well-built enough to withstand a direct hit from three five-year-olds, it's relatively cheap to buy and if you opt for the slightly larger Qashqai+2, it'll carry five adults and two children in comfort.
