The new SEAT Arona has been awarded a full five stars for safety after an impressive performance in Euro NCAP crash tests.

The new Arona’s outstanding performance comes despite Euro NCAP introducing tougher-than-ever tests in recent, with the model performing particularly well in the occupant and pedestrian protection categories.

Driver assistance systems included on the SEAT Arona, such as Brake Assist and Front Assist, further aided its strong showing in the Euro NCAP tests.  The systems use radar technology, together with the latest versions of ABS and ESC, to detects other vehicles and pedestrians before initiating an appropriate response.

Pre-tensioner and load limiter belts are a feature of both the front and rear seats, while Isofix and Top Tether fixing points in the rear seats are standard, as is a speed limiter, third rear headrest, seat belt warning system for all seats, and six airbags.
