Audi have used the Geneva Motor Show stage to reveal the UK pricing structure for the all-new second generation R8.
The latest version of the acclaimed supercar will be the most powerful production car in Audi’s history, and will go on UK sale May 15 priced from £119,500 on-the-road. That amount buys the entry—level, 533bhp, V10 powered model.
For £137,500 you can have the 602bhp V10 Plus version, which boasts a 0-62mph time of just 3.2 seconds and a breathtaking top speed of 205mph.
With lightweight multi-material space frame construction reducing the weight of the latest Audi R8 by up to 50kg, the model still returns a combined 23.9mpg. Other fresh developments for the next generation R8 include a V10 FSI engine with Cylinder-on-Demand technology linked to the new start/stop system, Quattro all wheel-drive system with variable torque control, and new equipment including virtual cockpit and front/rear park assist.
The full UK specification for the new Audi R8 will be released shortly, with order books to open in May and first deliveries to commence later this year.
