A coupe that offers strong and powerful performance that is controlled by responsive steering and strong road grip, the Audi TT Coupe 2.0 TFSI Sport is very desirable coupe. The engine sounds great and the TT looks sensational.

PROS:  An impressive top speed and fast acceleration mean this car is more than capable of making an impression on the road.

CONS:  Pricey. Limited visibility.

Behind the Wheel

The TT handles like a dream, offering plenty of grip and precise, direct steering. The ride is also superb, ironing out bumps and creases on the road surface with ease.

The TT's performance credentials are excellent and the 2.0 litre engine delivers a hefty 208 bhp at 4300-6000 rpm alongside 258 lb-ft of torque at 1600-4200 rpm. With a top speed of 152 mph and a 0-62 mph time of 6.1 seconds, the TT feels punchy and fast.

Looks & Equipment

In terms of internal equipment, the Audi TT Coupe 2.0 TFSI Sport offers power steering, central locking, stability control, alloy wheels, climate control, electric door mirrors, electric front windows, a part-leather interior and an advanced stereo system with CD player and MP3 connectivity all as standard.

The TT is a fantastic looking car, looking classy and up-to-date. A metallic paint finish also improves the external look of the car and costs £510.

Additional features such as Bluetooth connectivity, a built in sat nav, rear parking sensors and cruise control are all available for an extra cost. Bluetooth connectivity costs £250 whilst the built-in sat nav, rear parking sensors and cruise control cost £665, £305 and £220 respectively.

Practicality, Safety & Reliability

The TT comes fitted with an impressive array of standard equipment including driver, passenger and front side airbags as standard. An alarm and immobiliser are also fitted to protect the vehicle from theft and the car comes with a three year warranty for 60,000 miles. A service interval of 9,000-19,000 miles is recommended and that means maintenance costs can vary.

There is plenty of adjustment available within the front seats and the steering column. The internal instruments are well arranged and that makes operating them easy when driving.

The TT is never going to be the most practical car in the world - coupes never are. However, you get a decent 292 litres of boot space when the seats are up, with 700 litres on offer with the seats down.

Value for Money

The TT Coupe 2.0 TFSI Sport is reasonably priced at £27,140. For the money you get exceptionally high levels of performance and a decent level of in-car tech.

Fuel consumption is very reasonable at 42.8 mpg on the combined cycle and CO2 emissions of 154g/km mean the car is placed into road tax bracket G. Insurance will be fairly high under bracket 34 and as the car is run on super unleaded petrol rather than the standard unleaded taken by the 1.6 TFSI Sport, running costs will be higher across the board.

Resale values should be very strong as the TT is a highly desirable car, so you should find that the TT Coupe 2.0 TFSI Sport is a very sound investment.
