The new Mercedes C-Class has been shown for the first time in a series of images leaked online.
The photographs, which appeared on Spanish motoring blog Diariomotor, give us our first glimpse of the exterior of the new C-Class, following the leaked images which appeared last week, showing the car's interior.
Mercedes will unveil the new C-Class at the Detroit Motor Show in January and is hoping that the new car will outperform the likes of the BMW 3 Series and the Audi A4 in the compact executive class.
Underneath, the C-Class uses a blend of aluminium and high strength steel, promising a lower kerb weight despite an increase in overall size. The car will also incorporate technology gleaned from the latest S-Class, including air suspension and a raft of driver assistance systems.
With the reveal of the C-Class just a little over two months away, we're expecting Mercedes to officially reveal the car fairly shortly.
