Honda has officially unveiled its new Nissan Juke-rivalling small SUV at the Tokyo Motor Show ahead of the car's Japanese launch next month.
Revealed here for the first time in production form, the new car will wear the 'Vezel' badge in the Japanese market. The car was first shown as a concept called the Urban SUV at the Detroit Motor Show earlier this year. It's unclear whether the Vezel name will be used in the UK market.
The Vezel is based on the Jazz platform and will be available with both hybrid and petrol powertrains. The hybrid model will get a 1.5-litre direct-injection petrol engine mated to an electric motor. A 1.6-litre diesel engine will also be available when the car makes it to the UK.
Honda is expected to launch the Vezel in the UK at some point during 2015.
