Suzuki has announced it will unveil three new concept cars at the Tokyo Motor Show next month.
First up is the Crosshiker (pictured above), a compact crossover which is described as being an alternative to the Regina concept which was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2011. The Crosshiker is the size of a compact car but weighs just 810kg thanks to a new lightweight platform. It is powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine.
The second car on display is the new X-Lander (above). Based on the Jimny, the X-Lander is a 4WD hybrid compact car with a 1.3-litre engine and an automated manual gearbox. An electric motor is also built into the car's 4WD system, providing mild off-roading ability.
Rounding off the trio will be the new Hustler (above). Although named after a noted 'jazz mag', the Hustler is in fact a crossover car which Suzuki claims "suits the active lifestyle of people who love the nature, love the outdoors, and love sports."
A coupe version of the Hustler (pictured above) will also be on show, as will the iV-4 concept which was unveiled in Frankfurt last month.
