Suzuki’s Celerio and Swift models have been celebrating two new accolades this week.

Both models were awarded Green Apple Environmental Awards at a ceremony which took place on Monday at the House of Commons.

The annual event is organised by The Green Organisation and judged by the Midland Group of Motoring Writers. It is the third year in a row that the Celerio has wowed the judges. Launched in 2015, the Suzuki Celerio SZ3 Dualjet with CO2 emissions of just 84g/km collected Silver Award in its debut year followed by Gold in 2016.

The Celerio’s success has been emulated by the recently launched Swift, which picked up a Silver award in the Smaller Family Car category. Ian Donaldson, Chairman of the Midland Group of Motoring Writers commented, “In this category, the competition to provide cars that meet an incredibly wide number of demands - and stay economical - has never been greater. One of our judges chose Swift because it combines “Space, economy and a great drive with a welcome dash of fun.”
