Peugeot enjoyed a double success at the 2020 Fleet News Award this week.

The all-new Peugeot 208 was named Best Small Car, while the Peugeot 2008 lifted the Best Compact SUV title.

Launched in January, the all-new 208 is available with a fully-electric powertrain as well as conventional petrol or diesel, as part of Peugeot’s strategy for every model to have the option of electric power by 2023.

The 2008’s launch followed last month.  Both feature the latest-generation 3D Peugeot i-Cockpit with a compact multifunction steering wheel, configurable 3D head-up display panel, and either a 7 or 10-inch HD capacitive colour touchscreen.  Other technological features include Peugeot Connect SOS and Assistance, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go function, Lane Positioning Assist, and Mirror Screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Peugeot 208 was already named European Car of the Year earlier this month.
