Mercedes has revealed images of the interior of its new V-Class MPV.
The V-Class is destined to replace the existing Viano in the Mercedes line-up next year following its planned debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
Although it's still undergoing development, the V-Class, which uses the codename W447, heralds the reintroduction of the V-Class name to the Mercedes line-up following its demise back in 2003. The V-Class will also serve as the replacement for the existing R-Class.
The V-Class will be sold in two different guises. The more upmarket of these two models will be sold as an MPV and feature the more family-oriented and classy interior you see here. Mercedes also plans to sell a cheaper, more basic and more utilitarian version of the model under the Vito name.
As you can see, the V-Class' interior is typical Mercedes fare with a split dash, neat styling touches and a centre console which seems to have taken its inspiration from the new S-Class. There's also a large screen from which the infotainment systems will be accessed.
The V-Class will go on sale in mid-2014.
