This year, three of the world's most illustrious and coveted marques have all revealed a new hypercar.

First into the fray were Ferrari and McLaren who unveiled their new LaFerrari and P1 models at the Geneva Motor Show. Now, however, there's a third kid on the block, the new Porsche 918 Spyder, which was revealed to the world last week in Frankfurt.

On paper, the trio look disarmingly similar. All three will offer similar(ish) power outputs, all of them will breeze past 200mph and all of them will come with price tags to make even the most well-heeled petrolhead wince.

Of course, the proof will very much be in the driving when it comes to splitting these cars apart. Unfortunately, no journalist has had the chance to drive all three of these astonishing new cars yet and until we get a chance to pedal each of the triumvirate back-to-back, we'll have to make our judgements based on numbers alone.

And that's why we've created this: the snappily-titled CarSite.co.uk 2013 New Hypercar Comparison Fact Sheet. Scroll down to see how the three cars stack up in a Top Trumps-style showdown of facts and figures.
