Mercedes-AMG has released two teaser images of a new model which will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show next week.
The images, which were published on the company's official Facebook page, appear to show two ambiguous close-ups of a new AMG model. And although there has been no official word yet from the company, media speculation would seem to suggest we're looking at a new, final edition of the SLS AMG.
The new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Final Edition will be a sort of 'last hurrah' for Merc's bonkers gullwing-doored supercar, ahead of the model's planned retirement next year.
It's thought that the Final Edition will feature a number of styling tweaks, including a new front bumper, a new grille, a tweaked interior and smattering of special edition badges. The pictures also show that new black wheels and a carbon-fibre front splitter will be fitted too.
Although the Final Edition will feature the same 6.2-litre V8 engine as the standard car, it will likely offer a modest improvement over the current model's 591bhp and 479lb-ft of torque.
