If you've been keeping up with our news from the Frankfurt Motor Show, you'll know that Ferrari has unveiled a new, faster, lighter version of the 458 Italia.

Called the 458 Speciale, the new car gets a 597bhp version of the Italia's 4.5-litre V8 which develops 597bhp, propelling the car from 0-62mph in 3.0 seconds and from 0-124mph in just 9.1 seconds. The engine has a specific power output of 133bhp per litre, the highest ever achieved by a naturally-aspirated road engine, and is the most powerful naturally-aspirated V8 ever to come from Maranello.

But enough of our yakking. Click on the image below to see -- and hear -- a new video from Ferrari which shows the 458 Speciale being put through its paces on road and track. We suggest you turn the volume up loud.
