A leading motor trade journal has voted the all-new Mazda2 as its car of the year.
The accolade was bestowed at Car Dealer Magazine’s Power Awards held at Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, after votes cast by UK car dealers were collated. Dealers are asked to consider the best manufacturers, models, and suppliers they have had direct experience with before submitting their choice.
The all-new Mazda2 boasts the brand’s signature wing front grille, headlamp profile, and cab-rearward styling, and a comprehensive package of Mazda SKYACTIV technology. The 15-strong range starts from £11,995 on-the-road, rising to £17,395.
Car Dealer Magazine Editor Colin Channon said of the Mazda2: “We've had dozens of dealers telling us what a star it is. With lots of standard kit, a spacious interior and impressive performance levels, plus sharp looks inside and out, it's a wise supermini buy that's been very well received by dealers and their customers.
