Lexus has announced it will reveal its new RC coupe at the Tokyo Motor Show later this month.
The RC is a two-door coupe which Lexus claims is "designed to raise the brand's profile with a wider audience and customers who are new to Lexus."
Two versions of the car will be unveiled: the RC350, which gets a 3.5-litre V6 engine; and the RC 200h hybrid, which gets a 2.5-litre unit.
On the outside, the RC's bodywork features deeply contoured lines and at the front end there's a new grille which Lexus claims is the "widest and lowest-set interpretation yet" of the company's trademark 'spindle grille'.
The grille is flanked by a pair of triangular headlamps which feature three LED lights, while at the back there are a pair of thin tail lamps shaped in Lexus' 'L' motif.
The RC's aluminium wheels come in two designs: a 10-spoke 19-inch version and a five-spoke 18-unch version.
On the inside, the RC gets wood trim and a seven-inch screen which controls both the car's infotainment and navigation systems. The seats have also been made using an integrated foam construction, similar to the material used in racing seats, which is said to provide excellent comfort and support.
The Lexus RC will make its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show on 20 November.
