Aston Martin’s new 600bhp, 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 monster the DB11 will be seen in action for the first time at next week’s 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Aston Martin boss Dr Andy Palmer will drive the £155,000 beast up the famous 1.16-mile Goodwood hillclimb course. The DB11, the first model launched under Aston Martin’s ‘Second Century’ programme, was first unveiled at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
Also tackling the hillclimb course during Festival weekend will be Aston Martin Racing works driver Darren Turner, firstly in the lightweight 4.7-litre V8-powered Vantage GT8 – the £165,000 limited edition which has already seen all 150 examples sold – and then in the track-only Aston Martin Vulcan.
