Show-goers at next week’s Geneva International Motor Show will be the first to see the full production version of the all new Suzuki Baleno.

The all new Suzuki Baleno will go on sale in this country from June, and developments in the design and construction processes mean the model will be lighter and more fuel efficient than its predecessor.

A more rigid, lightweight platform comes with a choice of power plants.  Conventional power comes in the form of the 1.0-litre direct injection BOOSTERJET turbo engine.  This will be joined by a 1.2-litre SHVS – or Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki – engine which boasts an Integrated Starter Generator and Lithium ion battery.

Suzuki will be releasing more detailed UK specification and pricing structure for the all new Baleno range after the model’s launch in Geneva.
