The new 2015 Hyundai Genesis has been teased ahead of its official debut next year.
Although Hyundai has confirmed that the Genesis will be produced in right-hand drive form for the first time, it has not commented on whether it will be offered in the UK market. The firm is reportedly evaluating the viability of brining the car to British shores.
The image reveals that the Genesis bears some resemblance to lesser models in the Hyundai range, including the i40 and the i30. It's a handsome looking car too -- something we've come to expect from both Hyundai and Kia under the design stewardship of ex-Audi designer Peter Schreyer.
The engine line-up will consist of the same engines offered on the current model: a 3.8-litre V6 petrol with 328bhp and a 423bhp 5.0-litre V8 petrol. Hyundai will have to expand the engine line-up to include a smaller petrol engine and a diesel if it is to have any hope of making an impact in the UK.
Hyundai is planning to unveil the Genesis in Korea later this year, with the car making its motor show debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January.
