The Golf Estate delivers an excellent driving experience and is a lot of fun, with sharp and responsive handling. The ride is a smooth and comfortable one, and most notably much more refined than that of its predecessor, with very little noise intrusion. The car also deals with most potholes and road imperfections fairly well.
The top speed of the estate is 118 mph and takes 11.3 seconds for it to travel from 0-62 mph. The car’s power output is 104 bhp and has torque figures of 129 lb-ft at 1550-4100 rpm.
The S is a basic trim option, so don't expect too much as standard.
