Aware of how important new technology is for British consumers, Vauxhall has launched a new webstore, which includes products at special introductory prices.

The new webstore that the car manufacturer has introduced - www.navigation.com/vauxhall - is aiming to attract its first customers by offering special prices on a number of products.

The new website is available to all European countries and features six languages and accepts up to four different types of currency.

It also provides access to the most up-to-date information on routes, map updates, navigation news and products.

Special offers

The promotion includes a 10% discount on maps for selected Vauxhall models, with prices starting from just £99 until the end of March.

The car maker claimed that, thanks to its NAVTEQ Map navigation systems - which are continuously updated to keep track of changing road network developments; "Vauxhall drivers can get where they need to be, on time and without hassle."

"Given current road and highway developments going on across Europe, it is important that motorists have access to a resource that is consistently maintained with the latest information in order to plan the most accurate and efficient routes," said Simon Gibbs, Vauxhall Product Development Manager.

As the manufacturer explained, there is a wide range of map updates available for current Vauxhall models, as well as new ones such as the CD500/DVD 800 update for CD and DVD navigation systems in Vauxhall Insignia, Astra and Meriva models manufactured in 2009 and 2010.

However, the car firm warned buyers that NAVTEQ Map navigation systems could vary depending on the Vauxhall model, as well as on the age of the vehicle.

"Vauxhall drivers now have the tools they need to ensure that their navigation systems are always updated," added Gibbs.
