Skoda has been named 'Best Car Manufacturer' in the latest consumer satisfaction polls.
Tens of thousands of Auto Express magazine and online readers completed a customer satisfaction survey in a number of different categories.
With a majority vote of 88.59%, Škoda took the top spot, winning the 'Best Car Manufacturer' title for the second consecutive year. This is the fourth time in a row that Škoda has been in the running for the title.
The Škoda Yeti and Superb performed well, taking first and second places in the top 100 cars list.
The Škoda Yeti took a 92.47% share of the vote for 'Best Car' followed in close second by the Superb MkII with 92.35% of the vote.
"Škoda has said it's a manufacturer of happy drivers and we believe it. Coming top in Driver Power is tough; today's car buyer is more demanding than ever and every manufacturer is trying its hardest to improve its survey ratings," commented Auto Express Editor-in-Chief Steve Fowler, "But Škoda, more than any other car maker, seems to get the basics right, and then goes above and beyond to keep its customers happier for longer."
Robert Hazelwood, Brand Director for Škoda UK, believes that the car manufacturer will continue to build on its success, "It proves our brand continues to move in the right direction with its products, dealers and core values."
