We've done countless hours of extensive research to bring you a round up of our favourite examples of the weird and wonderful Christmas gifts that are on offer from the automotive giants of the world. We've done the hard work, so you don't have to.
These gifts range from the sublime to the absolutely ridiculous, from the cheap and cheerful to the downright extortionate, but hopefully there is something here for everyone!
Skoda Mug - 295 Czech Republic Koruna (about 8 quid)
At first glance our first gift may surprise you with its banality. However, all is not as it seems, the 'Simply Clever' Skoda Mug is exactly that, we actually think it is genius and we cannot believe that we haven't seen anything like it before. It is the mug to revolutionise mugging (not that type of mugging), the mug to put all good coaster suppliers out of business, it is the mug that will allow us to sMUGly place down our hot drink on our parents' favourite coffee table with gay abandon, ladies and gentleman it is the mug of dreams. For less than ten english pounds you can purchase this mug with a bit of rubber on the bottom and give somebody the gift of being able to place their brew wherever they want, whenever they want. We salute you, Skoda. Priceless.
Lego Batmobile, Delorean and Ghostbusters Ecto-1 cadillac car - £159.99, £30 and £44.99
Three of those things that you would perhaps never buy for yourself, but should someone else buy them for you, you'd be absolutely delighted. Well, I would. Warning: Do not step on Lego, and do not try and put Lego in your ear, or up your nose when drunk.
Porsche Golf Bag, Porsche Alloy Clock, Porsche Book-end - £1200, £250 and £140
Now if you ignore the prices, which I understand is a difficult thing to do - especially if you're actually buying things - these gifts are pretty cool. Well the golf bag is probably not very cool, don't get me wrong, it is nice enough, but nobody is going to like you more for having a Porsche golf bag. That is a nice way of saying you'll look like a massive... clock though is brilliant, and the brake disc book-end is one of my favourite things on this list.
Audi Teddy Bear and Audi Corkscrew - £34 and £42
Audi do all manner of little bits and bobs that would make amusing/nice gifts for Audi fans, these two are our picks of the bunch as far as little christmas gifts go. The corkscrew because it's funny, relatively affordable, and undyingly useful. The bear because it's another fun gift, and it looks really soft but also really cool. Maybe it is just me, but I have rarely seen a more distinguished looking, well-turned out teddy bear.
Lego Ferrari Speed Champions set - £65
More automotive Lego, perfect for any big kid who likes their F1. Inside the box is an F14 T and Scuderia Ferrari Truck and of course some little Ferrari men and women. Just don't buy it from the Ferrari website, they have the opposite of a sale on.
Jaguar Scalextric, Land Rover Bear, and Aston Martin Notebook - £130, £35, and £130
From the Jaguar - Land Rover - Aston Martin conglomerate we have a very cool 007 scalextric set which is enough to bring out anybody's inner child on Christmas morning, just remember to let the kids have a go. From Land Rover we have another teddy bear (which isn't quite as cool as the Audi bear but has its own charm), and last but definitely not least; an Aston Martin Notebook which costs £130. Perfect stocking filler. Bargain.
Mercedes Wireless Mouse and Mercedes Sit on Sledge - £45 and £74
This Mercedes-Benz wireless mouse could be a good gift for the right person, and again it's one of those gifts that won't just end up in a drawer never to be seen again as it is very useful, particularly good for someone that actually needs a new mouse. The sledge is a touch expensive, but we definitely want one (make that two).
Lego VW Camper Van - £79.99
We've tried to cater for all tastes with our Lego offerings in this list, but there's an important section of the population we have neglected, the camper van nuts. If you know one, and I think most of us do, they will either have this already, or it will be the best christmas gift they get this year. I am no camper van aficionado, but I think this is absolutely brilliant.
Lamborghini Baubles, Cycling Shirt, Keyring - £30, £259, and £150
£150 keyring anyone? For some reason this seems absolutely bonkers. Well, mainly because it is, but I don't suppose we would think twice about it if it was classed as jewellery, a pendant or something. But it isn't. It is a keyring, so we'll stick with thinking it is bonkers. The baubles are either tacky, brilliant or hilarious, we're not sure which. However, the cycling shirt is definitely 100% bonkers, we have no doubt about this one. The shirt on the left is essentially the same as the one on the right, both shirts are made by X-Bionic, both shirts are hideous cycling attire, but there's a key difference; one has the world's most expensive fabric badge on it, one doesn't. One costs £86, the other costs £259. We couldn't believe it either.
Ford Santa hat - $9.95 (£ who cares)
And finally, a blue Santa hat with Ford written across the front, because who doesn't want one of those!
