Skoda has announced that it plans to unveil six new models during 2013.

An image posted on the firm's French Facebook page confirms that the new Rapid will be the first model to arrive later this month. A new Octavia hatchback is due for release in March, followed by an estate version in June.

In addition to this, the Czech firm has hinted at three new models which are due out between August and December. The identity of these new models remains a mystery; however, it seems likely that a hot vRS version of the Octavia will be released later this year, alongside facelifted versions of the Yeti and the Superb.

On the other hand, Skoda could surprise us all by releasing an all-new model.

It has also been announced that the Rapid will become the second car in the Skoda line-up (after the Citigo) to feature the firm's new logo. The Fabia and Roomster will also be given the new badge in the coming months.
