This month sees the Silverstone Classic event celebrate its 25th anniversary.
The historic motor racing festival is more popular than ever with a record 100,000 people expected to attend this year's silver jubilee event.
Organisers are hopeful of topping the total of 1,125 race entrants from last year, with this year's on-track programme featuring 20 races covering all eras. The oldest confirmed entrant is a 1923 Bentley, with the newest a 2006 Super Aguri F1 car.
The event boasts plenty of entertainment off track too, with flypasts by the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and live music from Status Quo on the Saturday evening. A 10,000 strong classic car show will take place infield, which will also house a shopping village of some 150 outlets.
In addition, almost £9 million worth of classic and race cars are expected to go under the hammer at Silverstone Auctions over the weekend.
Tickets for the event, which runs from 24-26 July, start from £40 and can be ordered online at www.SilverstoneClassic.com.
