Fiat Chrysler Automobiles are the latest manufacturer to announce a scrappage incentive scheme.
Up to £5,300 is on offer to customers who trade-in their older, more polluting cars, in favour of a new Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Abarth, or Jeep. The offer is available on orders made before the end of September, and is available to retail customers trading in any pre-2010 cars powered by Euro 1-4 petrol or diesel engines, regardless of make or model.
The offer will see customers able to save up to £2,125 on a Fiat 500 Pop, £2,500 on all Fiat 500X models, and up to £3,500 on the Fiat 500L range. Customers wanting to order a Fiat Panda could save up to £2,000 on all models above Pop trim level. Other Fiat models included in the offer are the Tipo range which has a scrappage bonus of up to £1,500, the Punto which has a discount of £3,500, and the Fiat Spider which comes with a potential saving of £3,000. Trading in your old car could also see you save £3,000 on the Abarth version of the Spider, while the price of a new Abarth 595 drops by £1,095 under the terms of the offer. Jeep customers can save £3,500 on the price of a new Renegage, while Alfa Romeo customers could save up to £3,500 on a new Mito or £3,250 on a new Giulia. The biggest potential saving comes on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, where trading in your existing car could save you up to £5,300.
