Renault is to use this Saturday’s Regent Street Motor Show to showcase its latest electric vehicle offerings.
The all-electric ZOE supermini take centre stage alongside the Twizy urban quadricycle at the free-to-view event which is open from 10.30am-4pm and is expected to attract around 500,000 visitors.
The ZOE has recently received an all-new electric motor, which has 16bhp more than the unit it replaced and allows for faster acceleration. As a result, the ZOE now two seconds faster from 50mph to 75mph, a performance improvement achieved without affecting range which remains unchanged at 186 miles. The ZOE is currently available from £18,420 on-the-road with the Plug in Car Grant.
Alongside the ZOE will be the Renault Twizy, a two-seat electric quadricycle with a range of 56 miles and a top speed of 50mph. Its tandem seating arrangement sites the passenger behind the driver.
Renault has an extensive electric vehicle range, including the Kangoo Van Z.E. 33 and the Master Van Z.E.
