Buoyed by the rollout of the UK’s mass Covid-19 vaccine programme, the organisers of The British Motor Show have announced an expanded show for 2021.

Anticipating greater confidence amongst both customers and exhibitors for large scale events during the summer, the plans include three driving experiences.

Attendees to the event, which will run from August 19-22 at Farnborough International, will be able to ride in a Caterham as it is driven around a slalom course by the Drift Taxi Exprience.  The Paul Swift Stunt Driving Experience will also be there, giving passengers a first-hand look at movie stunt driving.  Finally, Under-17 Driving and The Big Learner Relay have teamed up to give youngsters their first chance to get behind the wheel of dual-control car with a fully qualified driving instructor.

Event organisers are continually looking at making the 2021 British Motor Show one to remember, with live content, celebrity guests, and competitions.

“We’ve been using lockdown to agree even more content and now that the vaccine is being rolled out we are absolutely confident that the show will go on,” explained The British Motor Show CEO, Andy Entwistle.  “We’ve seen an increase in enquiries and ticket sales, so now is the time for exhibitors and car manufacturers to make sure The British Motor Show is a big part of their plans for 2021.”

Tickets cost £18.50 per head, or £37 for a family ticket, and are on sale now at www.thebritishmotorshow.live
