Renault has unveiled a new facelifted Megane ahead of the car's debut at next week's Frankfurt Motor Show.
The facelift is part of Renault's plan to roll out its new design identity across its model line-up. As a result, the new Megane features Renault's new corporate front-end bumper, which was first seen on the Clio last year.
The changes apply to the entire Megane range, including the hatchback, the Sport Tourer estate and the Coupe.
Renault's Megane Renaultsport and GT Line ranges also benefit from the changes and in addition to this get new headlights with gloss black backgrounds and a "more dynamic stance".
In addition to this, the new Megane is to become the first model in the Renault range to get the company's new 128bhp 1.2-litre TCe engine which will be offered across the range from next year. It will be offered with Renault's six-speed double-clutch automatic gearbox.
We'll have to wait until the Frankfurt Motor Show to find out more about the new facelifted Megane range.
The new Megane is due to go on sale in the UK early next year.
