Next week’s Geneva Motor Show will see three new Vauxhall models make their debut.
The Insignia Grand Sport, Insignia Sports Tourer, and Crossland X models will all be seen in public for the first time at the event in Switzerland.
All-new vehicle architecture underpins the next generation of Insignia models. Revised proportions allow for extra space inside as well as an improved road stance. The new Insignia has also seen safety and comfort advances. Next-generation IntelliLux LED matrix lighting, Lane Keep Assist, Head-up Display, AGR-certified premium seats, heated seats all round, and heated screen have all been added.
Vauxhall’s OnStar system has also been enhanced, allowing occupants to book hotel rooms and search for suitable parking spots via the OnStar Advisor.
Meanwhile, Vauxhall’s all-new Crossland X SUV is expected to turn heads with its unique two-tone paintwork on the outside and a cavernous interior space on the inside. The model may be more compact than its Mokka X sibling, and shorter than the Astra hatch, but an elevated driving position and flexible AGR-certified seating gives the cabin a roomy feel. Other features include a 180-degree panoramic rear-view camera, advanced park assist, forward collision alert with pedestrian detection and autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, speed sign recognition and side blind-spot alert.
