Bentley’s bespoke coach-building division Mulliner has teamed up with high-performance audio manufacturer Monster to create a special new model.
The Bentley Continental GT V8 S Monster by Mulliner will debut at the 2016 CES event in Las Vegas, combining the already well-appointed specification of the Continental GT V8 S model with a unique custom sound system developed especially for the new model. The 3,400-watt, 16 speaker system has been hand-tuned by Monster boss Noel Lee for maximum effect, while the car has a special compartment purpose-built to house Monster’s newest 24k gold wireless headphones.
The sound system is complimented by a Beluga hide trim and steering rim sections finished in Monster’s signature red and black colour scheme, while a 3D laser-etched fascia panel boasts a design based on the Monster logo.
Outside, the Onyx paint finish of the Monster by Mulliner model has a unique body kit and radiator shell bezel, red brake callipers, gloss black polished wheels, and stylized black bonnet vents.
Geoff Dowding, Director of Mulliner, said: “The inspiration for this Mulliner commission came from a meeting with Monster’s CEO Noel Lee at Pebble Beach in 2015, where we exchanged business cards. The card contained several brand details, such as the Monster-pattern design and the red, black and silver colour scheme. It was the ideal starting point from which to create this incredible vehicle.”
