These are the first official pictures of the new Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG, which is set to make its world debut at next week's New York Motor Show.
The images, which were leaked onto a Russian website, show the new hot, AMG-tuned version of Mercedes' CLA four-door coupe in the metal for the first time. It's not, however, the first time we've been afforded a glance of the new car -- the CLA 45 AMG was given a 'virtual unveiling' at the launch if the Playstation 4 last month.
Sadly, Mercedes has yet to reveal any official details about the new car, but we can reveal that the CLA 45 AMG shares its oily bits with the A45 AMG hot hatch, which was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month.
Power will come from a 335bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, making for a 0-62mph time of less than five seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 155mph. A seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox will be fitted as standard, as will quicker steering, AMG suspension and bigger brakes.
