You might be aware that Sony has recently announced its next generation of games console: the Playstation 4. Apparently, it will offer superior graphics to the PS3, while offering new social features which allow gamers to shared recorded gameplay clips.
None of which interests us. We are, after all, a car site, and the Playstation is, after all, a plastic box full of silicon.
What does interest us, on the other hand, is the fact that Mercedes's new CLA 45 AMG made its virtual debut at the Playstation launch as one of the stars of the new Driveclub game, which is set to be released on the PS4.
The CLA 45 AMG will reportedly feature the world's most powerful four-cylinder production engine. The engine will develop 355bhp and 332lb-ft of torque, which will be sent to all four wheels via Merc's performance-oriented AMG 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system.
Very little else is known about the CLA 45, but expect more information to be revealed in due course.
Mercedes will reveal the CLA 45 AMG in the metal at the Geneva Motor Show next month. Pricing details have yet to be announced, but expect the CLA 45 AMG to cost from around £40,000.
