The Porsche 918 Spyder made its dynamic debut at the Goodwood Motor Show earlier this year. It's expected to go on sale here in the UK next month with an asking price of €781,155 (£666,000). For €853,155 (£728,000), the 918 will also be offered with a Weissah performance package which adds more magnesium, titanium and ceramic parts, shaving 35kg off the car's kerb weight.

Powered by a 4.0-litre V8 engine mated to two electric motors, the Porsche 918 Spyder will develop 875bhp and get from 0-62mph in 2.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 211mph. But despite the impressive performance figures, Porsche claims that the car will return 85mpg and emit just 79g/km of CO2.
