Kia has released the second teaser image of its new Sedona MPV ahead of the car's official debut at next week's New York Motor Show.
The new image, like the one before it, provides a fairly ambiguous look at Kia's new MPV; however, it does show us what the car will look like in profile.
Kia is clearly making a concerted effort with the new Sedona to pitch the car further upmarket. And the addition of styling touches such as the company's new corporate grille, along with an altogether more angular appearance, gives the Sedona a distinctive appearance.
It has also been revealed that the Sedona will be based on an all-new chassis and powered by a 3.3-litre petrol direct-injection V6 engine. Kia also promises "a host of innovative technology and safety features," including the company's new 'UVO' infotainment and telematics system.
Unfortunately, the new Sedona will not go on sale in Europe. Kia stopped production of the previous Sedona back in 2011 due to dwindling sales.
