Kia has released a second teaser image of its new concept car, dubbed the GT4 Stinger, which will make its debut at the Detroit Motor Show next week.

Designed at Kia's California design studio, the GT4 Stinger features the latest version of the company's signature 'Tiger Nose' grille and incorporates a range of styling traits which could be seen on future road-going models.

The grille surround glows white and is flanked by vertical LED headlamps. Front brake cooling vents also channel the air around the 20-inch alloy wheels, while a carbon-fibre front splitter located under the bumper provides downforce.

The GT4 Stinger is powered by a tuned version of Kia's 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, badged T-GDI, which produces 315bhp. The power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox.

The wheels feature carbon-fibre inserts for strength and weight reduction. Stopping power is provided by four-calliper Brembo brakes.

Full details will be revealed when the GT4 Stinger is revealed on Monday.
