To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Jaguar marque, the manufacturer’s Heritage Racing division is sending a star-studded team of drivers to take on the legendary Mille Miglia.

The 1,000-mile challenge running from Brescia-Rome-Brescia takes place from 14-17 May.  Piloting the line up of historic Jaguar XKs, C-Types, and D-Types will be such luminaries from the world of motorsport  and entertainment as five-time Le Mans 24hr winner Derek Bell, actor and TV presenter Charley Boorman, supermodel and presenter of Channel 5’s The Classic Car Show Jodie Kidd, celebrity chef James Martin, and singer-songwriter Elliot Gleave aka Example.

A fleet of new Jaguar XEs will complete the journey in support of the classic line up, with live updates throughout the event available via Jaguar’s social media channels on www.facebook.com/jaguar or www.twitter.com/jaguar.
