Infiniti has released a teaser video of its new Q50 which will debut at the Detroit Motor Show later this month.
The Q50 is the direct successor to Infiniti's current G Series saloon, which has been renamed in compliance with the Japanese manufacturer's bizarre new naming strategy.
Very few details have been released on the new model but the video at least hints at the styling direction Infiniti has taken. The video shows an aggressive-looking headlight complete with a strip of LED daytime running lights, which appears to be inspired by the LE Concept shown at last year's New York Motor Show.
The Q50 will compete in the premium compact-exec market with the likes of the BMW 3 Series and the Audi A4 when it goes on sale here in the UK later this year.
