Hyundai will reveal a new concept car based on the Genesis coupe at the SEMA show in Las Vegas next month.
The concept, which dubbed the JP Edition Genesis Coupe, has been built by Hyundai in collaboration with tuner John Pangilinan, featuring a range of modifications which Hyundai claims are the same ones used by entry-level tuners to reap the most cost-effective power gains.
Hyundai has yet to release any performance figures for the new car; however, it has revealed that the JP Edition features a new air intake, a performance exhaust, a turbo downpipe and friction-reducing Lucas Oil. In addition to this, Pangilinan has fitted new wheels, tyres, suspension and brakes.
On the outside, the JP Edition gets a striking Atlantic Blue paint scheme, flared wheel arches, a carbon-fibre front splitter and custom headlights. Inside, there are Recaro seats with leather and suede upholstery, race harnesses and an integrated GoPro video camera.
The Hyundai JP Edition Genesis Coupe will be on display at the SEMA show from 5 to 8 November.
