Honda have announced their Geneva Motor Show line up, which will include the world premiere of the new Civic Hatchback Prototype.
The Honda Civic Hatchback Prototype will give show-goers a preview of the exterior styling of the forthcoming model, which will join the Honda range early next year. It will be of particular interest to UK car buffs, as it will be produced at Honda’s manufacturing plant in this country for both domestic sales and export around the globe.
Joining the Civic Hatchback Prototype on display at the Geneva Motor Show, which opens at the start of March, will be the Honda Clarity Fuel Cell model. This will be the European debut for the model which was first unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in October. It is the world’s first production fuel cell saloon to house the entire fuel cell powertrain under the bonnet, and boasts a range of up to 435 miles. The new Honda NSX, a hybrid supercar with a mid-mounted twin-turbo DOHC V6 engine and nine-speed DCT gearbox, will also make its European bow ahead of first deliveries later this year, while a new concept model based on the Honda Jazz – christened the Keenlight – will join it on the Honda stand.
