Honda has released a teaser sketch of its new FCEV Concept, which will make its world debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show later this month.

The FCEV Concept shows the direction Honda will take with its next-generation fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV) when the new model goes on sale. The new FCEV is due to be launched in the US and Japan in 2015, with the European launch following later.

Mike Accavitti, senior vice president of Honda USA, said: "The Honda FCEV Concept demonstrates the company's vision for the future of personal mobility and our commitment to developing advanced alternative fuel vehicles.

"As we work toward the introduction of our next-generation fuel-cell vehicle in 2015, our long-term experience with fuel-cell technologies will help us pave a way towards a zero-emissions future."

The Honda FCEV concept will be revealed on 20 November at the Los Angeles Motor Show.
