Honda have announced what visitors to next months Geneva Motor Show can expect to see from the Japanese manufacturer.
The Geneva Motor Show will see Honda showcase the first example of their Earth Dreams Technology scheme in the form of a 118bhp, 1.6-litre diesel engine with sub-100g/km CO2 emissions. The first of a new generation of engines Honda plan to introduce over the next three years, the engine is slated to be included into the Civic range later this year.
The Honda stand will also feature an NSX supercar concept, with a mid-mounted V6 engine and an all-wheel drive Sport Hybrid system. The NSX concept is planned to become a production reality over the next three years.
The show will also see the prototype of the fourth-generation Honda CR-V, ahead of its European sale launch in the autumn. Honda claim the new model will feature more aggressive, deeper sculpted styling, with new fascia and bumpers for greater aerodynamic efficiency.
Two new Honda Jazz models will also be displayed for the first time. The Jazz Si has an upgraded sports suspension package, as well as subtle styling changes, and will go on sale in September. The second model, the Honda Jazz 1.2 with Idle Stop, features reduced CO2 emissions and will be made available to order in the spring.
Completing the line-up of European debutantes will be the electric rear wheel drive two-seater Honda EV-STER open sports car.
