Citroen is offering a glimpse of the next-generation C4 Picasso with its Technospace Concept, which will go on display at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

The new C4 Picasso will be the first model to be based on Citroen's new 'Efficient Modular Platform 2' (EMP2), which significantly lowers the car's weight. Citroen claims that the most efficient models in the range will emit just 98g/km of CO2.

As well as being lighter than the current C4 Picasso, the new model will also be slightly smaller. But despite this, Citroen claims that the new car will be more spacious inside and will feature class-leading luggage capacity, with 537-litres on offer.

New technology included on the Technospace concept includes a 12-inch high-definition panoramic touschscreen and new 3D-effect rear lights.

The next-generation Citroen C4 is set to go on sale later this year.
