Weeks before its official UK launch in April, Citroen has released five 'test drive' videos of its new DS5 model.

Despite the fact that the latest Citroën model won't be released onto the UK market until 2nd April, Citroen has given British consumers the chance to watch how the car performs in five different videos.

In its competition entitled the 'DS5 Star Experience', Citroën selected five video finalists and asked Brits to vote for the final winner. The author of the most popular video will win a luxury five-star weekend in St. Tropez and the chance to drive and review the New DS5 before its British debut.

Melina Kacherou-Carage, Head of Digital Marketing at Citroën UK, commented on this competition:

"With this competition, we wanted to let members of the public be among the first to get behind the wheel of the new DS5 and to tell us what they really think of the car. With these video reviews, we've put our new Citroën flagship in the public's hands. We’ve invited their open and honest opinions, which we are publishing online for all to see."

The complete DS line

Recently, Citroën displayed its whole DS line at the Geneva International Motor Show. The models included the DS4 Racing concept and new special editions - DS4 and DS5 Paris Rendez-Vous and DS3 Racing S. Loeb.

The Geneva International Motor Show also hosted the global debut of Citroën's new C4 Aircross, which was presented to the public together with the restyled C1 and Berlingo Multispace.

The car manufacturer seized the opportunity to demonstrate to motor fans their commitment to improving the ecological performance of its vehicles. The firm pointed out the reduced average CO2 emissions of its range - by 5g/km in a year - thanks to the use of e-HDi micro-hybrid, full electric and full hybrid diesel technology, amongst other innovations.
