Land Rover has released the first official photos of the all-new Range Rover, ahead of its debut at this year's Paris Motor Show.

We reported yesterday that some of the photos had been leaked online, and Land Rover has now seen fit to release some official data on the new car.

As we said yesterday, the new Rangey borrows styling cues from its baby brother, the Evoque. In addition to this, the new model has an all-aluminium body structure -- a first for Range Rover -- making it around 39% lighter than its predecessor. Not only has this improved performance, but it should also make the new car more frugal and less environmentally-damaging.

The V8 petrol and diesel engines from the old Rangey will be available in the new car, but Land Rover has confirmed that a new V6 diesel will be joining the line-up, offering increased fuel efficiency. Unfortunately, Land Rover has yet to reveal the performance figures for the new car.

Land Rover has also been tinkering with the Range Rover's interior and not only is there more space inside than ever before -- due in part to the new car's longer wheelbase -- but the cabin is also even more attractive and luxurious.

Official performance and pricing details will be revealed early next month, ahead of the Rangey's Paris debut. The first deliveries are expected early next year.
