A woman who was caught on camera driving on the pavement to avoid a school bus has been ordered to stand at a traffic junction wearing a sign warning about idiots.
Shena Hardin, 32, from Cleveland, Ohio, regularly drove on the pavement to avoid a school bus which was stopping to load and unload children. The driver of the bus warned the police of Ms. Hardin's repeated attempts to get past, and when she tried it again, a police car was waiting to apprehend her.

Ms. Hardin will have to stand at a busy junction in Cleveland wearing a sign which says: "Only an idiot drives on the sidewalk to avoid a school bus." She has also been ordered to pay $250 in court costs and has had her driving licence suspended.
Frankly, we think that this is a brilliant idea. What better way to deter moronic motorists from driving like idiots than by threatening them with public humiliation? We hope to see bad drivers being punished more creatively in Britain in the very near future.
We hope you're listening Mr Cameron...
