A hapless motorist in Rugby caused havoc as he tried to park his Toyota RAV4, and ended up on top of a MINI.

The middle-aged motorist, who has not been identified, drove over a Peugeot 406, a tree and a MINI while trying to park his car.

The moment was captured for posterity by warehouse worker, Tom Evans, 27, at the Cineworld car park in Rugby, Warwickshire, last Friday.

Mr Evans said: "I couldn't believe my eyes as I drove past. I had to get out my car and take a picture.

"Talking to people at the scene, it appears the man's foot slipped from the clutch and he has just careered over the two vehicles."

Luckily, no one was in either the Peugeot or the MINI at the time, and the driver of the Toyota was uninjured.
