Here's a little tip: If you're planning to steal fuel from a petrol station, make sure your accomplice doesn't drive off while you're doing it.
The video below is CCTV footage of the moment an unidentified woman was thrown across a petrol station forecourt in the Mt Warren Park Caltex in Brisbane, Australia, while she was still filling her car with petrol.
It appears that the driver of the car panicked as a petrol station attendant came over to check the registration plates of the vehicle.
Unfortunately, as the driver accelerates away, the fuel nozzle is still lodged firmly in the car's petrol tank and snaps, sending gallons of fuel gushing over the forecourt.
The driver then stops to let his accomplice into the car, before driving off and leaving the scene of the crime.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and identify the bungling thieves.
