Volvo are to give a public debut to their limited edition C70 Inscription convertible at the LA Auto Show.
The C70 Inscription will be limited to a production run of just 2,000 vehicles per year, and will be made available for worldwide order at the same time as its public unveiling.
The C70 Inscription has external styling differences to the standard C70, including a painted grille and 18-inch black alloy wheels. It comes with a number of engine options, with a 227bhp 5-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, a 175bhp 5-cylinder turbo diesel engine, and 148bhp 5-cylinder turbo diesel.
Black Stone, Ice White, and Metallic Black Sapphire are the three available colour options for the Volvo C70 Inscription convertible.
Volvo hope the C70 Inscription's coup de grace will be its interior, including off-black or calcite Soverign Hide upholstery and dashboard with contrasting stitching. The Inscription model name will be embroidered on the front headrest, as well as on special Inscription carpets and handbrake lever. There will be aluminium inlays to the steering wheel, gear knob, pedals, and centre console, with the latter also available with black or Nordic light oak inlays.
The Volvo C70 Inscription convertible will make its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which begins on 16th November, and will be available for sale worldwide from the same time with prices to be confirmed.
