Volkswagen have slashed the price of the all-electric e-Golf by £2,765.

The on-the-road price is now £31,075, which falls even further to £27,575 once the £3,500 Government Plug-In Car Grant has been applied.

Launched five years ago, and refreshed in 2017, the e-Golf has a range of 144-miles and its electric motor offers up to 134bhp.

In addition to the financial incentive, Volkswagen further aims to entice buyers to choose electric by offering a 48-hour test drive of the e-Golf.
